DMRC Recruitment 2020 - Director Vacancies in New Delhi

On 08/07/2020, DMRC announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed B.Tech/B.E for the position of Director.

Qualification Details:

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a Government owned company, has been set up for implementation and operation of rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System in Delhi. The Company intends to appoint the following official:

1. Name of the post: Director (Business Development)

2. Date of Vacancy: Existing 

3. Scale of the Post: Rs.180000 - 340000 (IDA) and other allowances/ perks/ privilege.

4. Duration of Appointment: The appointment shall be on contract basis presently for a period of 5 years, or, the date of superannuation, whichever is earlier. 

5. Job Description and Responsibilities: The incumbent shall be a member of the Board of Directors of DMRC and shall report to the Managing Director of the Company. He/she shall be the overall in-charge of the Consultancy and Design Wings of DMRC. 

ii.  He/she shall be responsible for the overall planning, exploration and execution of Business Development opportunities for DMRC to ensure that the Company runs on sound and strong financial pedestal.

iii. He/she shall also be responsible for developing a very strong revenue stream for DMRC through innovative approaches toward Consultancy Services in Metro and other transportation sectors, both within India and abroad. He/she shall be responsible for innovative and cost effective design developments of Metro and other transport systems both for DMRC and external clients.

6. Qualification: The applicant should have a Degree in Engineering with a good academic record from an institute of repute

7. Experience:  Essential:-
i. Experience of handling Consultancy Project/Assignments.
ii. Experience in preparing tender documents, selection of contractors and management of important and prestigious projects in urban environment. 

8. Desirable:-  Specialized experience in Metro transport projects.

9. Eligible Pay Scale (to be reckoned as on 01.07.2020):
a. Public Sector Executives in the pay scale of Rs. 120000 – 280000 (Revised) or Rs. 51300 -73000 (Pre-revised IDA) OR Officers working in Level 14 of the 7th CPC or the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) (with Grade Pay of Rs.10000 in Pay Band 4 of CDA Grade of Rs. 37400- 67000 (Pre-revised).

b. The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale shall be two years as on 01.07.2020.
